The Problem

Pick My Study had strong AI matching tech but struggled to convert web visitors into qualified applicants and to scale predictable lead flow.

Despite a differentiated AI engine that delivered strong university matches, website messaging and assets didn’t communicate the platform’s value quickly enough for prospective students.

Organic visibility for high-intent search terms was limited, and the absence of compelling lead magnets meant most visitors left without sharing contact details. As a result, enrollment pipeline velocity was low, CAC was high, and the team lacked a repeatable funnel to feed admissions conversations.

The Challenges

Complex product positioning, low buyer-intent search visibility, and lack of high-value lead magnets made it hard to attract and convert prospective students at scale.

Our Approach

We ran a funnel-first, data-driven program combining a conversion-focused website redesign, SEO-led content clusters, and targeted custom lead magnets to convert traffic into qualified applicants.

  • Keyword research & content cluster: mapped buyer-intent keyword clusters (program + country + stage) and built pillar pages (e.g., “MBA in US — admission guide”, “MS in Canada — profile fit”).

  • Landing pages & CRO: redesigned vertical landing flows (MBA, MS, Medicine), added clear value propositions, trust signals, social proof, and an “AI Match Score” micro-conversion.

  • Cold email lead-gen automation (where applicable): built segmented nurture sequences for downloaded lead magnets and re-engaged dormant leads.

  • Paid acquisition & remarketing: ran targeted search & social ads to lead magnets and remarketed visitors who reached match pages but didn’t convert.

  • Sales enablement & automation: created a one-click demo/apply flow, templated email sequences, and automated lead routing to counselors.

  • Measurement & iterate: implemented event-based analytics, heatmaps and a weekly KPI dashboard to prioritize tests and scale winners.

Outcomes

In 6 months we built a predictable, lower-cost pipeline of qualified student leads, improved organic visibility and created repeatable lead-gen assets that accelerated applications.
